The Shaft House is a two-and-a-half-story residence located in Toronto, Canada and was built in 2010.It was a project by Atelier rzlbd. Let it sit for another hours if your soap is still soft or warm. Once cold and firm, remove your soap and place onto parchment paper or a baking rack. Allow your soap to cure for about a month or 4 weeks but turn each piece of soap over at least once a week to ensure air gets to all the sides of the soap. If you have the time and budget, you can use distilled water. Most pharmacies or grocery stores will have distilled water that you can purchase.

The fatty acid profiles of other oils are different, and you'll end up with drying soap, soap that doesn't lather, etc., unless you sub in Lard or Tallow. Check other recipes online if you want to make that substitution for the correct ratios. You can infuse your oil with blossoms or other herbs but typically the scent of those things doesn’t come through in the final product. You would still get the benefit from the herbs themselves but probably not the scent.
